1Day 01
Andes Journey to Aconcagua from Mendoza
8:00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Mendoza City. We will leave the city and head to the mountains in private transportation. In just an hour, we will reach the closest mountains in Cacheuta, an area famous for its hot springs. We will make our first stop here, walk around the site, and take pictures for a few minutes. Then, we will continue the journey while sharing all the information you need to know about Mendoza and its fantastic places. The second place we will visit is Potrerillos Valley, a beautiful area that shows the great work of man in making use of the water coming from the Andes. This is the water needed to irrigate every tree, vineyard, and other plants here. Mendoza is a desert region, so here we will see the Potrerillos Dam, which allows water from the Mendoza River to be stored. At this second stop, we will enjoy a nice cup of coffee and croissants while you admire the scenery. Afterwards, we will continue along International Route 7.
