Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Manado and Transfer to Tangkoko

Pick up at your hotel and drive to Tangkoko. The journey takes about 2 hours. Lunch at the guest house. Check in at the guest house, then head to the forest in the afternoon to see the small primate tarsier/tangkasi (Tarsius spectrum gurskyae) as it comes out from its sleeping tree to hunt for food. Return to the guest house. Dinner at the guest house. Free schedule afterward.

Day 02

Morning Wildlife Watching in Tangkoko and Return to Manado

After breakfast, you will be guided into the forest for birdwatching in the lowland forest, focusing on Sulawesi's endemic birds. After that, continue to look for Sulawesi's endemic wildlife, such as the Black Crested Macaque (Macaca nigra), Red-knobbed Hornbill (Aceros cassidix), Bear Cuscus (Ailurops ursinus), and the big fic tree. Then head back to the homestay. Lunch at the guest house. After lunch, check out and drive back to Manado. Check in at your hotel. End of tour.
