Canals, Early Christian Churches, and Street Art in Milan
Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and begin the tour. Admire Milan's story through street art, including commissioned works from 2014. Have a look at the Christian church of Saint Lorenzo and the 16 white columns dating back to Roman times. Walk to the early Christian church of Sant'Eustorgio and then to the Darsena, Milan's harbour until 1970. Along the Darsena wall, you will have the chance to admire spontaneous works of street art. Head along the riverside of Naviglio Pavese, admiring the street art on the bridges. Through Via Gola, a kind of "wild street" with spontaneous and protest street art, reach the House Museum of Alda Merini, the great lady poet of the canals district, and admire the street art dedicated to her. End on the riverside of Naviglio Grande.
