Itinerary

Day 01

Hike to the Crater Rim Camp

Start with breakfast and coffee or tea. Transfer to the trailhead or drive one hour to Sembalun. Trek all day with a lunch stop. Arrive at the crater rim, where camp is prepared. Enjoy dinner and sleep at the crater rim.

Day 02

Summit Ascent, Segara Anak Lake, and Senaru Crater Rim

Wake at 2:00 am for a light breakfast. Begin the summit hike around 2:30 am. Return to the crater rim for a big breakfast. Descend to Lake Segara Anak. Rest at the lake and enjoy the hot springs and lunch. Continue to Senaru crater rim to camp overnight.

Day 03

Jungle Trek Down to Senaru Village

Have breakfast and begin the five-hour jungle trek. Stop for lunch on the way. Arrive in Senaru village and transfer to the homestay.
