On the first day, you'll leave Siem Reap and begin the 3- to 4-hour drive to Battambang. Upon arrival, you'll go directly to visit Wat Ek Phnom, an ancient Angkorian temple located on top of Ek Phnom Mountain. This 11th-century Hindu temple offers stunning views of the farms surrounding Battambang. In the evening, you'll visit the museum and take a stroll along the Sangke River, which runs through the town.
