Visit the beautiful golden-roofed Buddhist monastery. Walk through the village to see traditional stilted bamboo houses (Chang Ghars). Continue to Dehing Patkai National Park, located around 30 to 40 minutes from Namphake. Explore the Jeypore Rainforest or Soraipung Range, the only lowland tropical rainforest in India. Go for a guided nature trek to spot the Hoolock Gibbon, India's only ape. Spot rare bird species such as the White-winged Wood Duck.
