Explore the Blue City of Chefchaouen

Meet your tour guide at Bab Elaine, the gate that leads to the Jewish neighbourhood in the old Médina of Chefchaouen. Learn about the Jewish history and culture of Chefchaouen before heading into the blue streets, where you will explore the Instagram spots with blue stairs and capture stunning photos. Stroll through Bab Souq and the Berber market to find local handicrafts and spices. Proceed to the Old Oven, one of the few that still uses wood for the fire, and the Berber house to witness the traditional way of making bread and experience the Berber lifestyle. Move on to the Old Kasbah 1471, a historical fortress that played a significant role in the region's history. Continue towards an old school of fine arts built by the Spanish occupants. From here, you can see from outside the city's oldest hammam, or bath. See the old bakery, the main square, and the Grand Mosque, learning about local life, traditions, and history as you pass the shops and discover the local fare. Walk through the Esbanin Valley, crossing the Portuguese bridge and the old water mill. Pass along the Rass Elma River, admiring the spring water and the laundry place. End the tour at Place Outa Hammam, a lively square surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Every year, a music festival is held in this square.
