Cameron Highlands to Taman Negara Rainforest Adventure
7am depart for Taman Negara - a 4-hour journey. Taman Negara is a 130 million-year-old tropical rainforest with endangered tigers, tapirs, elephants, 14,000 flowering plants, including medicinal and poisonous plants, and 300 bird species. A Nature Guide will lead you on a trekking experience to the viewpoint for a stunning view of Gunung Tahan - Malaysia's highest mountain. Then catch a boat as the boatman negotiates rapid-shooting waters to reach an aborigine village. Watch fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations done the native way. You can also take part in the activities. The aborigines are naive people, and the rainforest is their supermarket. The Nature Guide will share facts and taboos of Taman Negara as he takes you trekking again to mesmerizing rainforest waterfalls for a cool dip - a therapeutic stress reliever. Return to the hotel. Free and easy. 7pm join the Nature Guide for the Night Jungle Walk to spot civet cats, slow loris, snakes, scorpions, and other nocturnal animals coming to the man-made salt lick. 3Day 03
Taman Negara to Kuala Lumpur via Batu Caves
8am depart for Kuala Lumpur and visit the iconic Batu Caves en route. Climb 272 steps into the temple of a Hindu deity honoured during festivals. Ladies should have their knees and shoulders covered. Continue into downtown Kuala Lumpur to visit colonial landmarks such as the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, St Mary's Cathedral, Jamek Mosque, the National Mosque, and the Clubhouse. Then drive to Little India and Chinatown before drop-off at your hotel. End of program.
