Kathmandu Flight and Arrival in Bardia
Day 1: Flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj & Transfer to Hotel Marvel Treks representatives will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Kathmandu Domestic Airport for your flight to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival at Nepalgunj Airport, our representatives will receive you and escort you to your hotel or resort. After check-in and refreshments, you are encouraged to explore the surrounding communities and interact with local people. You may also visit the Bardia National Park Visitor Center and the crocodile breeding center nearby. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by a full rest to prepare for the upcoming jungle activities. Accommodation: Hotel or ResortMeals: Lunch & Dinner Day 2: Walking Safari in Bardia National Park with Animal Tracking You will receive a wake-up call in the morning, followed by breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, begin your full-day walking safari toward Bardia National Park accompanied by experienced naturalists. During the jungle walk, you may encounter wildlife such as one-horned rhinoceroses, elephants, and various bird species. If lucky, today also offers a strong chance to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger on foot. Lunch will be a packed picnic inside the jungle, after which you will continue walking and wildlife tracking. By evening, return to the lodge for dinner and rest, preparing for another exciting day ahead. Accommodation: Hotel or ResortMeals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 3: Half-Day Jeep Safari & Cultural Experience Today begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a half-day jeep safari inside Bardia National Park. This safari offers continued opportunities to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger, along with other mammals and bird species that inhabit the park. Lunch will be served at the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy birdwatching, an excellent opportunity to observe many species of birds and wildlife found in the park. In the evening, experience a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance at the hotel premises, followed by dinner. Accommodation: Hotel or ResortMeals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 4: Full-Day Jeep Safari in Bardia National Park After an early wake-up call and breakfast, head out for a full-day jeep safari deep inside Bardia National Park with a professional nature guide. A jeep safari is one of the best ways to observe wildlife closely while covering a larger area of the park. You will explore the jungle for approximately 6 to 8 hours, with a packed picnic lunch inside the park. After a full day of exploration, return to the hotel for a special farewell dinner. Spend the evening sharing experiences with fellow travelers and interacting with the hotel staff.
