Day 01

Cook and Dine in an Italian Country Kitchen

After meeting the chef, prepare the iconic Italian dishes. This is not a fixed-menu experience; let the chef know what interests you, match the other participants' needs, and decide which dishes will be prepared. Examples include, but are not limited to, pasta, lasagne, gnocchi, ravioli, risotto, parmigiana, caponata, ossobuco, involtini, cannoli, tiramisù, panna cotta, and zabaione. Whenever possible, you will use organic, locally sourced ingredients. As the chef's home is located in Ticino Natural Park, you will enjoy the beautiful natural environment. Have lunch in the woods, literally enjoying your food with complimentary beer or wine. Outside the chef's property, you will be able to take a walk in the woods and try to spot the different animals that live there: foxes, hares, dormice, wild boars, buzzards, cuckoos, woodpeckers, and more. In case of adverse weather conditions, lunch will be held in the living room of the chef's home, which has large windows overlooking the woods.
