Kimono Culture Session in Sapporo
Connect with your tour guide in Sapporo to begin the program. Get introduced to traditional Japanese kimono in the guide's Japanese-style room. See several types of kimono, including Tomesode, the most formal black kimono worn by married women, and Furisode, with its long sleeves worn by single women, among others. You will also see your guide's family photographs featuring different types of kimono during the session. In the second half, watch a demonstration of how to put on a kimono in the Japanese-style room. Make yourself familiar with Japanese culture through a deeper understanding of kimono culture.
