Day 01

Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland Experience

Start the tour after meeting your Wai-O-Tapu tour guide, who will pick you up from Rotorua CBD and transport you to Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, providing commentary along the way. You will be given enough time to fully experience the park, as well as an opportunity to cool off or warm up in the local stream, so be sure to bring your towel. Return to Rotorua CBD with enough time left to enjoy an afternoon activity. If you do not have anything planned, ask your friendly driver-guide for advice, particularly about the Crater Lake Walk on your return to Rotorua.
