1Day 01
Arrival in Leh and Evening at Shanti Stupa
Arrival in Leh and acclimatization day. Pickup from Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude of Leh. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa and enjoy panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Later, explore Leh Main Market and experience the local atmosphere. A local English-speaking guide will accompany you during the sightseeing. 1 litre of drinking water per person is provided for the day. 2Day 02
Leh Monasteries, Shey Palace, and Sindhu Ghat
After breakfast, explore the cultural and historical highlights of Leh. Visit Shey Palace and explore its historic surroundings. Visit Thiksey Monastery, one of the most impressive Buddhist monasteries in Ladakh. Continue to Hemis Monastery, one of the region's most important monasteries. Visit Sindhu Ghat and enjoy views of the Indus River and surrounding mountains. Visit Rancho School and explore the area. Enjoy sightseeing with your local English-speaking guide. Khardung La Crossing to Diskit and Hunder
After breakfast, depart from Leh towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass. Drive through the spectacular Himalayan landscape towards Khardung La Pass. Continue towards Nubra Valley and visit Diskit Monastery, famous for its large Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy the unique high-altitude desert landscape. See the famous Bactrian double-humped camels in the Hunder area. Camel rides are not included in the tour price. Enjoy sightseeing around Nubra Valley with your local English-speaking guide. Turtuk Village and Balti Heritage Discovery
After breakfast, drive from Nubra Valley towards Turtuk Village, one of the northernmost accessible villages of India. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Nubra Valley towards Turtuk Village. Explore the traditional village and experience its unique Balti culture and heritage. Walk through the narrow village lanes and see traditional stone houses, local farms, and beautiful mountain landscapes. Enjoy views of the surrounding Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges. Spend time exploring Turtuk and taking photographs of the beautiful village scenery. Return to Nubra Valley after sightseeing. Shyok Valley Drive to Pangong Lake
After breakfast, depart from Nubra Valley towards the spectacular Pangong Lake via the Shyok Valley route. Drive through the scenic Shyok Valley alongside the Shyok River. Enjoy dramatic Himalayan landscapes and mountain scenery throughout the journey. Arrive at Pangong Lake, one of Ladakh's most spectacular high-altitude lakes. Spend time enjoying the lake, surrounding mountains, and beautiful photography opportunities. Pangong Morning and Return to Leh via Chang La
After breakfast, depart from Pangong Lake for Leh via Chang La Pass. Enjoy the morning views of Pangong Lake. Drive towards Leh through the spectacular Chang La Pass. Enjoy scenic Himalayan landscapes throughout the journey. Continue to Leh and complete the return journey. Enjoy the remaining time in Leh at your leisure or explore the local market. Sangam Viewpoint Excursion and Return to Leh
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic sightseeing drive from Leh to the famous Sangam viewpoint before returning to Leh. Drive towards the spectacular Indus-Zanskar River Confluence (Sangam). Stop at the Sangam viewpoint and enjoy the beautiful meeting point of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Enjoy the surrounding Himalayan landscapes and take photographs.
