Marseille, Provençal Countryside and Aix-en-Provence
Marseille is a very dynamic, melting-pot city where you'll visit its most amazing monument, the basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde, and admire the stunning views over the whole city and the Mediterranean Sea. Then, we'll move into the countryside, passing through the beautiful and peaceful landscapes around Sainte-Victoire and the vines valley. You'll visit an authentic vineyard and enjoy a wine tasting there. I'll bring you to a little hilltop village, away from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism, where we'll play a game of pétanque with some Provençal appetizers, just like locals do! After that, you'll have some free time for an excellent lunch in the village or in nature. We'll then head to chic Aix-en-Provence, with its beautiful boutiques, squares, and cafés. You'll have time for shopping, strolling, a coffee, or ice cream. You can also visit one of the museums - it just depends on you and your interests!
