Itinerary

1. 1
   Day 01

   Arrival in Kathmandu and Trek Briefing

   Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel by private car. In the evening, you will be briefed about your overall trek activities and introduced to your trek guide. After that, enjoy a welcome dinner at one of the authentic Nepali restaurants.

   Day 02

   Fly to Pokhara and Explore Phewa Lakeside

   Enjoy your leisure time in Kathmandu until the afternoon. Transfer to the airport one hour before your flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival at Pokhara Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to the hotel. After freshening up, you can explore Phewa Lakeside, which is just a few minutes' walk from your hotel.

   Day 03

   Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tirkhedhunga

   Begin the Ghorepani Poonhill trek from the beautiful lake city of Pokhara. Take a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1 hour), then start trekking from Nayapul to Tirkhedhunga (1560 m). Walk along the Modi River, where there is an Annapurna Conservation Area check post, and enjoy the outstanding views of the Annapurna Range.

   Day 04

   Trek Through Forests to Ghorepani

   Trek steeply uphill for about 2 hours through fantastic landscapes and Himalayan scenery, with pleasant views of rhododendrons and magnificent oak forests, to reach Ghorepani. This pleasant village sits on a ridge top with excellent views of several peaks such as Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Mt. Nilgiri (7040 m), Fish Tail, Lamjung Himal, and many other short and high mountains. Ghorepani means "horse water" in Nepali. You can also find watering spots for the teams of horses, mules, and ponies that carry loads between Pokhara and Jomsom. Stay overnight at Ghorepani.

   Day 05

   Sunrise at Poonhill and Trek to Tadapani

   Wake up early for a morning excursion to Poonhill. Poonhill is popular for its breathtaking, unobstructed sunrise views over the high Himalayas and the wide panoramic scenery stretching from the far western Himalayas of Dolpo to Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Fish Tail, and more. After spending about one hour on the hillside, descend back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and start walking to Tadapani.

   Day 06

   Trek to Ghandruk and Drive Back to Pokhara

   Enjoy the fantastic occasional views of Mt. Annapurna and Machhapuchhre as your gradual path leads towards Bhasi Kharka. Then, after a couple of hours, reach Ghandruk, a Gurung village through forest and small streams, which is also popularly known as the Gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary. Explore the village's Gurung culture and local lifestyle in Ghandruk. After lunch, you will drive back to Pokhara in your private vehicle.

   Day 07

   Fly Back to Kathmandu and Explore the City

   Arrive at Pokhara Airport one hour before your flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be received by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel. Today, you will have free time to explore the city independently. Explore Thamel, a colourful tourist hub in Nepal. You will spot several hotels, money exchanges, shops selling all kinds of souvenirs and trekking gear, and many restaurants offering both Western and local Nepali cuisines. See Kathmandu Durbar Square, a great place to start your exploration. There, you will walk for about 10-15 minutes through narrow alleyways teeming with small shops, temples, and local restaurants. Visit Swayambhunath, the white stupa rising above the valley. If you are too tired to walk, you can also take a cab, which is approximately a 15-minute drive from Thamel. Explore the Garden of Dreams, a classical historical garden in Thamel, about a 5-10 minute walk away. It features an exquisite ensemble of pavilions, fountains, decorative garden furniture, and beautiful flowers and trees.

8. 8
   Day 08

   Departure from Kathmandu

   Meet your Himalayan Namobuddha representative, who will drop you at the airport 3 hours before your scheduled flight. It is time to bid Nepal farewell and appreciate your visit to our country. Hopefully, we shall meet again.
