Easy Biodiversity Hike in Maitland Nature Reserve
After meeting the guide at the reserve's entrance at 8 am, your hiking adventure will begin. The aim is to enjoy a relaxed hike while taking a closer look at the biodiversity all around you. You will seek out colourful flowers and interesting plants while listening to birds and other natural sounds. Be on the lookout for signs of elusive creatures, and be amazed by the wealth of insects that are so crucial to the web of these ecosystems. Observe the many plants and their adaptations across these varied habitats. The hike is conducted at an easy and relaxed pace, with regular stops. Lunch will be at around midday, with the trail finishing at approximately 2 to 3 pm. Keep your camera handy for the constant surprises.
