Mutianyu Great Wall and Chunhuiyuan Outdoor Hot Spring
Meet your tour guide in your Beijing hotel lobby, then hop into a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and head directly to the Mutianyu Great Wall. The drive takes about 1.5 hours. Your professional tour guide will explain the Great Wall and related Chinese history and culture, and you are welcome to interact with your guide throughout the journey. The Mutianyu Great Wall was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), and it features 20 original-style watchtowers. Follow your tour guide to take the chair lift up to the Wall, spend time hiking up and down, and then enjoy the fun toboggan ride back down. Spend about 2 hours here. Your lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy an outdoor hot spring experience for about 2 hours. The hot spring here comes from 1,230 meters underground and is abundantly rich in minerals and elements. The water temperature ranges from 29 C to 90 C. All the pools - of various sizes, temperatures, and levels of bubbliness - are filled with different remedies, including flora, roses, red wine, milk, and more. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
