Pico Island Lagoons and Lava Caves Adventure

Meet your Pico Island tour guide near the Madalena Ferry Station or at your accommodation in Madalena. Set out by jeep to see the beautiful lagoons and lakes formed by lava flows across the central plateau of Pico Island, and witness the island's rich and diverse wildlife. After lunch, put on your gear and venture into the depths of some of the largest caves in Portugal. These caves were formed by the flow and cooling of subterranean magma rivers. Head back to your hotel or accommodation at the end of the tour.
