Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Guwahati and Transfer to Kaziranga

Meet and greet at Guwahati airport or station, then drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site spread across 429.93 sq km. Arrive and check in at a jungle resort. In the afternoon, visit Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park, which showcases over 500 orchid varieties, bamboo species, cane plants, and rich biodiversity. Enjoy a cultural programme and return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 02

Wildlife Safaris in Kaziranga

Enjoy an early morning elephant ride in the Kohora or Bagori range of Kaziranga National Park. After lunch, proceed for a jeep safari through the central or western range wildlife zones. Experience a cultural programme in the evening. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 03

Drive from Kaziranga to Shillong

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Shillong, the Scotland of the East. En route, visit Umium Lake and the surrounding scenic viewpoints. Arrive in Shillong and check in at the hotel. Explore Police Bazaar in the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 04

Day Excursion to Cherrapunjee

After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunjee, surrounded by lush hills and waterfalls. Visit Mawkdok View Point, Dympep Valley, Seven Sisters Falls, Eco Park, and Arwah Cave. Enjoy scenic landscapes throughout the journey. Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Jowai and Jaintia Hills Exploration

After breakfast, drive to Jowai in the scenic Jaintia Hills region. Visit Nartiang Monoliths, Thadlaskein Lake, Krang Shuri Falls, and other waterfalls and caves. Explore Lalong Park, Tyrshi Falls, and the surrounding natural attractions. Check in at the hotel and rest. Overnight stay in Jowai.

Mawlynnong, Dawki, and Return to Shillong

After breakfast, travel to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Visit the Root Bridge and Bamboo Bridge. Proceed to Dawki and enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River. Continue to Shillong and check in at the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure in Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Shillong Sightseeing and Drive to Guwahati
