Lübeck's Five Christmas Markets
Meet your tour guide and begin right in the center, in the middle of a forest of sapin Christmas trees. Marvel at the star lights above you and explore the wares in the food and drink booths spread around the forest. Walk across to the Grimm's Fairy Tales market, where you meet Sleeping Beauty and Little Red Riding Hood. Continue to the Medieval Christmas Market, with its medieval booths right next to the grand Gothic St. Mary's Church. Stroll over to the central Christmas Market in the main market square and see the big Christmas tree, the historic Town Hall, and the Marzipan Chocolate Gourmetland. Continue along the main shopping street and walk up to the illuminated big wheel in the Maritime Christmas Market. End at the historic ship's market along the River Trave, where local people meet before going on to restaurants, clubs, and music venues.
