10-Day Journey Across 5 Malaysian States
Day 1: Arrival in Kuala Lumpur Arrive and check in at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur city (Bukit Bintang/KLCC). Relax after the drive. Enjoy an evening walk at KLCC Park and dinner at Jalan Alor. Day 2: Explore Kuala Lumpur Morning: Visit Batu Caves. Afternoon: Visit Merdeka Square, Central Market, and Chinatown. Night: Visit KL Tower (Menara KL) or go shopping at Pavilion KL. Day 3: Day Trip to Selangor (Putrajaya & Shah Alam) Morning: Drive to Putrajaya (30-40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur).Visit Masjid Putra, Putrajaya Bridge, and Taman Botani. Visit Masjid Putra, Putrajaya Bridge, and Taman Botani. Afternoon: Head to Shah Alam.Visit the Blue Mosque and i-City Theme Park. Visit the Blue Mosque and i-City Theme Park. Return to Kuala Lumpur at night. Day 4: Kuala Selangor Nature Escape Drive to Kuala Selangor (approximately 1.5 hours). Visit Bukit Melawati and see silver leaf monkeys. Optional: Sky Mirror, subject to tide timing. Evening: Enjoy a firefly boat tour at Kampung Kuantan. Overnight in Kuala Selangor or return to Kuala Lumpur. Day 5: Kuala Lumpur to Penang (approximately 4-5 hours' drive) Depart Kuala Lumpur in the morning. Stop at Ipoh for lunch, famous for white coffee and chicken rice. Continue to Penang via Penang Bridge. Check in at a hotel in George Town. Enjoy the night market and snack hunting. Day 6: Explore George Town (Penang) Take a street art walk and visit Khoo Kongsi and the Peranakan Mansion. Lunch: Char Kuey Teow and Nasi Kandar. Evening: Explore Gurney Drive or Penang Hill. Day 7: Penang Beaches & Kek Lok Si Morning: Visit Kek Lok Si Temple. Afternoon: Head to Batu Ferringhi Beach for water activities. Optional: Penang National Park short trek. Night: Relax with a beachside dinner. Day 8: Penang to Langkawi (via ferry from Kuala Perlis) Drive to Kuala Perlis Jetty (approximately 2 hours from Penang). Take the car ferry to Langkawi (must be booked in advance via Langkawi Ro-Ro). Arrive and check in at a resort in Pantai Cenang or Pantai Tengah. Day 9: Langkawi Adventure Visit the Cable Car and Sky Bridge. Join an island-hopping tour to Pulau Dayang Bunting, including eagle feeding. Evening: Explore Langkawi Night Market and relax at the beach. Day 10: Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur (Return Trip) Take the ferry back to Kuala Perlis with the car. Enjoy the long drive back to Kuala Lumpur (approximately 6-7 hours). Stop halfway in Ipoh or Tapah for lunch and rest. Notes: Car, hotel, and entrance tickets are included.
