Saqqara, Memphis and the Great Pyramids
Head to Saqqara early in the morning to see the oldest pyramid known in Egypt: the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, made of limestone and dating to 2500 BC. Continue to Memphis, the oldest capital known in Egypt, where you will see a statue of King Ramses II, dating to 1200 BC, and the ruins of his temple. After Memphis, drive to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, dating to 2450 BC, where you can also have your lunch by the Great Pyramids of Giza.
