Aquila Game Reserve Safari from Cape Town
Depart from Cape Town on a 2.5-hour drive through the Hex River mountains and valleys to a malaria-free private game reserve. On arrival, receive a chilled welcome drink at reception. Enjoy a buffet lunch after confirming your arrival at the reserve. At around 13:15, board an open-air vehicle for a 2 to 3-hour traditional safari game drive across the 10,000-hectare reserve. Spot the Big Five along with giraffe, hippo, black and blue wildebeest, zebra, ostrich, springbok, gemsbok, jackal, and various antelope species. Learn from experienced rangers while exploring protected mountains, valleys, and rich safari landscapes. Observe a natural wetland ecosystem home to 172 bird species and rare Black Eagle breeding pairs. Visit conservation areas showcasing rescued elephants, lions, and cheetahs within the reserve. Conclude the tour with a return transfer to your Cape Town city hotel.
