Explore Jakarta's Historic and Cultural Highlights
Meet your tour guide at the hotel and begin the tour. Drive along Jakarta's main downtown street, heading to the centre of Indonesia's and Jakarta's government buildings and offices. Visit the National Museum of Indonesia, the biggest museum in Indonesia, stop for photos at the National Monument and the Presidential Palace, and visit the National Mosque of Indonesia. Continue to the Old City of Batavia, once the central government of the Dutch. Explore the Jakarta Historical Museum, housed in the former Dutch Governor's building, visit the puppet museum, and stop at Cafe Batavia, where you can have lunch or drinks at your own expense. End the tour with a visit to the old and traditional Sunda Kelapa Harbour.
