Itinerary

Day 01

Terracotta Warriors, City Wall and Big Wild Goose Pagoda

Begin the tour with hotel pick-up at 08:00 AM and travel to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Explore the Terracotta Army for approximately two and a half hours and learn about the over 2,200-year-old life-sized soldiers from the Qin Dynasty. Understand why this vast underground army is considered one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the twentieth century. Enjoy an a la carte lunch at a local restaurant and sample authentic Xi An cuisine. Visit the Ancient City Wall and spend around one hour walking along the wall or enjoying elevated views of the historic city. Choose to experience cycling on the City Wall on an optional basis for a broader perspective of Xi An. Continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and spend approximately one hour exploring this renowned Buddhist site and the temple complex at its base. Conclude the tour with a return transfer to your hotel.
