Karya We navigate through the lush greenery of the Plateau of Karya. Enjoy the serene atmosphere, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and herds of ships and goats. Englouvi The wonderful high mountain Englouvi village is a great refreshing spot for a stop after the uphill cycling. The cosy square with the huge plane trees giving a refreshing shadow is perfect to having some rest. Vafkeri Continuing your journey, you'll arrive in the peaceful village of Vafkeri. This hidden gem is nestled in the mountains, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a break and let's make a short stop at the main square of the village and take some nice pictures. Alexandros Continue your journey to the village of Alexandros. As we ride through the rolling hills, take in the scenic beauty and capture the essence of the countryside. Alexandros offers another opportunity to connect with the local culture. The village was completely evacuated since the 50's, until a couple of decades ago, where redevelopment started taking over again, making Alexandros an attractive area for those who wanted to build a property and sense the real tranquility of Lefkada. Alexandros has a traditional ruined olive oil mill that has not been operating for over a century. On our e-Fat Bike tour, you can visit the mill and shoot some amazing pictures. Agios Ioannis Monastery Agios Ioannis Monastery is a historic monastery located in the central part of Lefkada. It is perched on top of a hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. While not directly on the plateau, a detour to the Agios Ioannis Monastery is worth it. On our e-Fat Bike tour, we will take a moment to soak in the tranquillity and enjoy the serenity of this sacred place. Then we will ride up to the monastery and explore its cosy inner yard and old frescoes, we will also enjoy the valley views, visit the monastery itself, and take in the spiritual ambience. Karya The final stop is Karya village, which is the start point as well.
