Itinerary

Day 01

We will start his tour taking a walk through the village of Muyil in the search for birds whilst witnessing local Mayan everyday life. Muyil village, situated half and hour from Tulum, provides an excellent opportunity to observe a wide variety of birds and ecosystems.We continue the tour in the Muyil Archaeological Site. Learn about the many species that can be found in this beautiful archaeological site and learn about the history of this old trading post.We walk through an ecological board walk though the initial ecosystems of the Sian Ka´an Reserve, giving you another great birdwatching opportunity. We explore a variety of habitats with different types of vegetation: secondary vegetation and some fresh water wetlands as we walk through flooded jungle until we reach a fresh water lagoon. After the tour we will make our way back to Tulum for half an hour.
