Ancient Corinth, Vouraikos Canyon and Kalavryta
Pick up from your hotel at 08:00 and drive along the mainland coast to the Peloponnese. Make your first stop, about 1 hour later, at the Canal of Corinth, which is 6 km long and 80 m high. Continue to Ancient Corinth, one of the beloved cities of Saint Paul. Have the chance to visit the Ancient Market and the Bema of Apostle Paul. Walk along the same paths where the Apostle of Nations walked and preached hundreds of years ago. Next, stop at Diakofto to take the Cog Railway (Odontotos), which links Kalavrita with Diakopto through the Vouraikos Canyon. It is one of the most beautiful natural sights and one of the most spectacular railway rides in Greece, and it has been described as the most beautiful train trip in the Balkans. Meet the driver and continue to the mysterious, magnificent, and unique Cave of the Lakes, a rare creation of nature. Here, you will see 13 small and large lakes, each with a different colour depending on the oxides contained in the rocks. Stop for lunch in the picturesque village of Kalavrita. The duration of the tour is about 10 hours.
