Walk Through Verona's Iconic Landmarks
This interactive excursion offers a unique opportunity to explore the landmarks of Verona, one of Italy's most beautiful cities. Our tour will begin at Piazza Brà, the main square, and take us through the shopping street in the city centre to the famous Juliet's House. We'll spend time beneath Juliet's balcony and statue while hearing interesting anecdotes about Shakespeare's timeless story and how it has impacted the city. As we make our way towards Piazza delle Erbe, we'll witness the heart of ancient Verona and admire the majestic Lamberti Tower. We'll also discover the charming medieval and romantic sides of Verona at Cortile Mercato Vecchio Square and Piazza dei Signori Square, where Dante Alighieri's statue can be found. We'll stop in front of the Arche Scaligere, a funerary monument of the medieval Lords of Verona, and visit Romeo's House. The tour will offer a breathtaking view of Verona and its surroundings from the banks of the River Adige. We will continue to Ponte Pietra, the first bridge of Verona, built by the Romans in the 1st century A.C. The walk will go on through the Catholic bishopric and along the riverbank of the city. The tour will end at Castelvecchio and its bridge. From the medieval fortress, we will take a final overview picture of the city.
