Meet your tour guide and set out through the district of Wanchai, the renowned backdrop of the novel-turned-movie "The World of Suzie Wong". Traces of different ethnic communities have shaped the development of this historic and down-to-earth neighbourhood. Stroll through the Star Street precinct to get a glimpse of the historic Portuguese/Macanese quarters, then head to Hung Shing Temple. Be amazed by "The Pawn", a traditional alternative financial institution that has now been turned into a hip restaurant. Next, proceed towards the quirky Tai Yuen Street Market, where you can find toys for "Kidults" amidst meat and vegetable stalls. Finish the experience at Blue House Clusters after learning some haunting tales about the pre-war Tong Laus, or Chinese tenement houses.
