Know before you go: The duration of this tour is spent inside the vehicle, with a toilet stop midway and again at the main camp, where we can sit for lunch at the restaurant if you like. There is also a curio shop where you can purchase beverages, snacks, and gifts. Please note that no persons are permitted to get out of the vehicle while on tour inside the park.

Safari Adventure in Addo Elephant National Park
Meet your tour guide for pickup from Port Elizabeth at 07:45, with departure no later than 08:00. This timing allows for a relaxed drive and gives you time to freshen up before the tour begins. Drive via the N2 to Addo Elephant National Park, entering through Mathyolweni Gate at 09:00. Upon arrival at this magnificent park, a Covid screening will be done at the gate before continuing with the tour. Begin exploring Addo Elephant National Park, the third-largest national park in South Africa. This malaria-free and diverse wildlife conservation park, close to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), is home to the Big 7 and the densest concentration of African elephants in the world. Spend time experiencing the diverse plant, animal, and bird life that Addo has to offer. If you are lucky, you might even spot lion, hyena, and Cape buffalo, along with a variety of antelope, feisty warthogs, and inquisitive zebra. There will be perfect photo opportunities throughout the safari. Make a quick pit stop at the famous Jack's Picnic Site, where you can stretch your legs and use the ablution facilities. Continue to the main camp for lunch at The Cattle Baron at 13:00. You are welcome to browse the curio shop or stroll to the lookout point below the eating deck. Depart after lunch at 14:30, and no later than 15:00. Continue exploring the park's northern side before departing the park at 17:00. Return to Port Elizabeth by 18:30.
