Itinerary

1Day 01
Laguna Parón Excursion through the Callejón de Huaylas
Departure at 08:30 am from Huaraz towards the north of the Callejón de Huaylas. Note: There is no stop for lunch. If you wish, you can bring a snack, or you may buy light meals at the lagoon. 1st stop: Carhuaz town, where we will stop to try the delicious natural ice creams. Then we will pass through Yungay and arrive in the city of Caraz. We will enter Huascarán National Park after approximately 2 and a half hours by car. Upon arriving at Laguna Parón, you will be able to enjoy one of the largest lagoons in the Cordillera Blanca, as well as the beauty and colour of the lagoon, by walking along the path or riding a boat or kayak. If you want to go up to the viewpoint, you will get a beautiful view of the entire lagoon and the mountains after a walk of around 20 to 30 minutes. Arrival at approximately 06:00 pm in the city of Huaraz. End of the tour.
